Responsibilities

Ensure uninterrupted supply from assigned Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) through effective forecasting, supply planning, production scheduling, procurement coordination and supplier management. Manage end-to-end external supply planning for assigned CMOs while ensuring inventory availability, service levels and inventory optimization. Build and maintain effective working relationships with CMOs to resolve supply issues, improve operational performance and ensure timely deliveries. Drive cross-functional coordination with Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Commercial and Finance teams to manage supply risks and support business priorities. Participate in forecasting, demand planning, inventory planning, capacity planning and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes. Execute MRP planning activities and ensure timely procurement of materials required for uninterrupted manufacturing at external sites. Maintain planning master data including Material Masters, Bills of Material (BOM), Production Versions and MRP parameters to support planning accuracy. Monitor inventory performance, safety stock levels and supply risks while driving timely mitigation plans. Support onboarding of new CMOs, product launches, technology transfers and supply continuity initiatives. Prepare and present periodic supply performance updates, inventory reports, risk assessments and CMO performance reviews to senior management. Drive CMO performance management through development and maintenance of performance dashboards and KPI reviews to support governance and continuous improvement. Lead periodic governance meetings with CMOs to review operational performance, key risks, service levels and improvement initiatives. Support commercial discussions with CMOs related to capacity planning, lead times, transfer pricing and supply agreements in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Provide functional guidance and support to shared resources, interns and cross-functional team members to facilitate effective execution, knowledge sharing and capability development. Support supplier development initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency and operational excellence Support global sourcing initiatives and cross-functional projects as required. Experience

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or preferred) MBA or Graduate level Supply Chain degree preferred Experienced in managing satellite supply chain with interface of multiple CMO, CRO and testing sites Expertise in running parallel activities of complex supply chain Minimum ten years of experience in two or more of the following areas - Planning, Strategic Sourcing, and Supply Chain, preferably in a pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing environment

Experience
