Expert Systems Engineer

A new age in healthcare technology has just begun. Overview The Hosting Operations team is seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Citrix engineer to join a growing team. This individual will work closely with the Business Unit leaders, Support leadership team, SDO, Altera internal IT, partners, and vendors. This is a remote role working rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
· Implement and support enterprise-level Citrix environments · Install, configure, and maintain Citrix servers and ADCs and related systems · Identify opportunities to standardize, enhance, and automate existing processes · Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problems with Citrix and related systems · Serve as third level escalation for Citrix support and troubleshooting · Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies · Performs other duties and special projects as assigned · Participate in on-call 24X7 support Contribution towards the team synergy: Coach, and mentor junior team members and provide leadership. Complete root cause analysis and problem management and share with team members to improve team processes. Knowledge transfer with other team members to improve overall team education level. Take ownership of assigned task(s) and provide project updates.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience required. Technical certifications
Experience
· 7 years of experience as Citrix Virtualization engineer/administration with responsibilities including, assessments, planning, implementation and upgrades/migrations in large environments with over 2000 users. Preferably in a healthcare environment · One of the following Citrix certifications is preferred but not required: Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE), Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V); Citrix Certified Expert
- Virtualization (CCE-V); Citrix Certified Professional - Networking (CCP-N) ·
Experience
configuring and managing Citrix technologies, including CVAD (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2203 or later), Citrix NetScaler/ADC, StoreFront, Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS), Citrix Cloud, Citrix in Azure, and other Citrix technologies · Team Player with proven communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills · Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills · Must have excellent writing and communication skills · Ability to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality · Possess a detailed understanding of architectural dependencies of Citrix technologies · Must have the ability to identify and instill industry best practices · Ability to translate complex technical information into understandable business language ·
Experience
in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Experience
with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. Travel
